Smile Assessment
Begin your Angel Aligner experience with a smile assessment.
The smile assessment helps me to build an initial assessment of what teeth conditions you currently have without you entering a dental clinic.
1st Consultation
Once you have submitted your Smile Assessment, my Patient Concierge Team will contact you to arrange for an initial appointment with me.
During the 1st consultation (20-30 minutes), I will evaluate your requirements and address any concerns you may have.
This involves conducting an oral examination, and taking an X-ray.
I will also capture your dental and facial profiles for diagnostic purposes.
Before we go into clear aligner treatment possibilities, I will go over your diagnostic records with you, discussing your dental condition as well as the available treatment options, costs involved, and expected duration of treatment.
I will then offer a simulation to demonstrate the potential outcome of your smile after undergoing Angel Aligner treatment.
A customised iOrtho® plan will be presented, showing you a comprehensive preview of how your teeth will progress at each stage throughout your treatment.
Treatment Plan
Should you decide to take up Angel Aligner treatment, a treatment plan will be created for you.
A treatment plan discussion will be scheduled for you 3 - 5 days after your first consultation with me. This treatment plan discussion will be done virtually. This minimises the amount of times you have to visit the dental clinic.
During the treatment plan discussion, I will show a simulated view of how your teeth will progress throughout Angel Aligner treatment.
Placing Your Attachments
Once you have decided on your treatment plan, you will be scheduled in for attachment placements at the dental clinic.
The attachments help guide the movement of your teeth to the desired position.
Should you require a tooth extraction to facilitate tooth movement in the case of overcrowding, it will also be done on the same day.
Angel Aligner Treatment Begins
You will receive your personalized Angel Aligner set within 3-4 weeks along with a Dental Monitoring device.
The Dental Monitoring device helps you keep track of when you should be changing your clear aligners. It also provides me with insights on whether your teeth movements are according to plan.
Angel Aligner Treatment Completes
Upon completing your treatment, your attachments will be removed.
A thorough cleaning of your teeth will be done (either via Scaling and Polishing or Guided Biofilm Therapy) before conducting a final scan to produce the retainers for post-treatment use.
Wearing your Retainers
To help you preserve your newly acquired smile, you will have to wear your retainers nightly.
You will be advised on the most appropriate type of retainer based on your requirements and lifestyle.
